Meet our Teachers
Teacher James

Hello, My name is Teacher James and I am originally from Melbourne, Australia. I studied at the University of New York, where I earned a degree in International Economic Relations.
I have been teaching for more than 20 years in various countries, including China, the Czech Republic, France, Iceland, Morocco, and Vietnam. Additionally, I have been teaching online for more than four years, primarily working with students from China, Japan, and Korea.
As an avid traveler, I have visited nearly 100 countries. I have a deep passion for history, cultural anthropology, environmental protection, and the natural world.
I currently teach for The Journey of Learning Languages, and I absolutely love it! My subjects include the Australian Curriculum, English for Children, Business English, Exam Preparation, and several Weekly Groups.

Teacher Mark

I began my career in education back in 2007. I spent a long time volunteering in schools and assisting children with their learning. I spent a year studying the foundations of teaching at the City of Sunderland College before being accepted into Durham University on three year teacher training program. After three grueling years of teacher training, I graduated with a degree in Primary education and earned the coveted Qualified Teacher Status award. Since then, I have worked as a classroom teacher, senior higher level teaching assistant, online English teacher, and a learning development mentor. In all these roles, I have planned, prepared, and delivered outstanding classes in all subject areas. All children and young people under my care have made outstanding progress with their academics and character, which makes me very proud. I have a solid understanding of all subject areas and I thoroughly enjoy my job. In addition to my teaching role, I am also a published author with a book title to my name, including many magazine articles. As well as working as a teacher, I am also a journalist and writer for a history magazine called paranormal daily news.
Teacher Puja

Hello my name Is Teacher Puja. I have a degree in Hotel Management from the University of Huddersfield and worked in the industry for several years, traveling around the world before transitioning into teaching.
I have been teaching English for nearly 10 years, primarily to children and young adults in China. My background is in Early Years education, and before becoming a teacher, I owned and ran my own kindergarten for children aged 3 months to 5 years. This experience truly ignited my passion for education and for creating enriching learning environments for children and young people.
While I particularly enjoy teaching younger learners, I also love working with older students and preparing them for the IELTS exam. I believe that a happy and relaxed atmosphere is key to a great learning experience—for both the student and the teacher.
Outside of teaching, I have two wonderful daughters, aged 20 and 24. When they are home, I cherish spending time with them. I also enjoy reading and dining out whenever I get the chance!

Teacher Karen

Hello, my name is Teacher Karen. I have been teaching English as a Second Language for just over three years. During this time, I have had the pleasure of working with young children, teenagers, and adult students. My lessons primarily focus on speaking, conversational skills, and vocabulary, although I have also supported students learning IELTS vocabulary, Think 1, FCE, and Business English.
I take a fun and engaging approach to teaching by using games and online resources to create a relaxed learning environment. In addition to teaching, I am a small business owner and run a workshop where I make wooden room dividers for dogs. Before starting my own business, I worked for the UK government for 15 years.
In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering. I am currently assisting with fundraising at a local animal rescue and have previously volunteered on a helpline for a mental health charity. I also love writing, journaling, and, of course, pizza!

My name is Nicole, and I’m a passionate English teacher with over four years of experience.
I’ve lived and taught in both South Africa and England, and I have a deep love for traveling and exploring new cultures.
I hold a qualification in Further Education and Training, and I’ve taught English both online and in traditional school settings. In my lessons, I focus on all key language skills—reading, speaking, listening, and writing—to ensure a well-rounded learning experience.
I use modern teaching methods and incorporate technology to make learning both fun and effective. I also create customized content tailored to each student’s needs, helping you reach your goals in an engaging and supportive environment.
