This immersion enhances language proficiency, particularly in reading, writing, listening, and speaking, which are essential skills for academic success and global communication. Our team of experienced educators is dedicated to providing high-quality instruction and personalized support. We prioritise creating a safe and nurturing online learning environment where students feel valued and motivated to achieve their full potential. Class Placement

Before selecting the subjects you wish to study at our  school, it is essential to take an English proficiency test. This will allow us to assess your language skills and ensure you are placed in the appropriate class level for optimal learning. Whether you’re focusing on grammar, writing, or conversation, this initial assessment helps tailor your learning experience, placing you in the right courses suited to your abilities and goals.

By completing the test, we can create a personalized learning plan that will challenge and support your progress.

After completing your English proficiency test, you will be placed in a suitable grade level based on your language skills. Once your placement is confirmed, you will be able to choose the subjects you wish to study. Please note that the grade you are placed in may differ from the one you study in your home country, as it is based on your English proficiency rather than your current academic level. Additionally, some classes may be subject to availability, so we encourage you to select your preferences early to secure a spot in your desired subjects.

Curriculum & Class Materials

At The Journey of Learning Languages we follow the British curriculum across a range of subjects, while encouraging flexibility and personalisation in lesson planning. Alike teachers within The United Kingdom, our teachers are encouraged to write their own lesson plans for each class, allowing for a more tailored and adaptable learning experience. This approach reduces the reliance on textbooks, making the classes more dynamic and responsive to the needs of individual students. Class materials will be provided by the teacher prior to the start of each lesson, ensuring you have everything you need to engage fully in the learning process.

If you choose to study one of our British curriculum subjects, rest assured that we cover a majority of these courses and strictly follow all standards, regulations, and academic goals set by the British educational system. Holidays

Since our school and staff are based in the United Kingdom, we are required by law to provide staff time off for all public holidays. However, it is at the discretion of the teacher whether classes will still take place on these days. Public Holidays for The United Kingdom are as follow: January 1st, March 29th, April 1st (Subject to change), May 6th, May 27th, August 26th, December 25th & 26th.

At The Journey of Learning Languages, we understand the cultural significance of national holidays and the need for time to celebrate them with family and loved ones. That’s why we do not hold classes during major public holidays, such as Chinese New Year also known as: Lunar New Years or Tet.
